Hi Mr. LePage,

I was in Halifax for a month last November and went to a couple of sessions at
the Triangle. I met someone who was playing one of your violins, it may have
been Nathan, can't quite remember his name. I have to say it was the most
beautiful sounding violin I've heard yet. It projected above all the other
fiddles throughout the bar, and had a rich but clear voice. I gave it a spin
and it was like driving a ferrari.

Two years ago, I tried over thirty violins at Heinl and the Sound Post here in
Toronto (all over $6000), and ended up with an old English violin. I'm pretty
happy with my fiddle, but I wish that I had heard a Lepage before investing in
this one.

That was a couple of months ago, and I haven't forgotten the sound of that
violin. I wanted to share that with you. As soon as I am able invest in
another violin, I'll be heading down your way for a visit.

Regards,

Joshua Colby
Hello Richard and Mary;
Just emailing to see how you two are doing and to tell you how much your
violin has helped to improve Alysen's playing. She absolutely loves her
fiddle and never puts it down.
She plays about 10 shows a year in Kenora and surrounding areas and I have enclosed a couple of pictures we took of her for publicity posters so you can see how she has grown. She is 16 now and has 1 year left of high school.
Take care and I hope you are all in good health.
Deeply indebted to you!

My fiddle still makes me very happy and sounds great!

I'd thought there for a while that the 'travel fiddle' -- the beautiful curly maple -- would become my favorite.  But no, that first fiddle I bought -- damn, that sounds good.  I'm playing twice a day now, when I first wake up and right before going to bed. In both cases I used to do e-mail.  Playing the fiddle is so much nicer.  And damn, it sounds good.

Thank you so much for the fiddle - I love it!
It is so easy to play and has a really sweet warm sound
